DVR Cards - Latest Software Feature Upgrades
There have been many strides in development since the inception of the GeoVision product line. The most popular features are the ones that we will list here among the regular standard features that will be listed in the section below.
- PTZ Tracking feature - When an object appears within the field of view of the camera, the PTZ camera will turn and track the moving target.
- Missing & Unattended objects - This feature will enable the user to set an alarm to go off when an area in the field of view detects motion. Sometimes there are areas where there should be no movement. This feature will signal an alarm when motion is detected in these user defined areas.
- Windows Lockout feature - This disables the user from getting to the Windows OS when the surveillance system is running. This prevents the user from tampering with the system and disabling it.
- Simplified installation and uninstallation - This improvement makes it easier and quicker for the inexperienced user to install and uninstall a surveillance system. The engineers have made this an easier process.
- Touch screen control interface - If you have a touch screen monitor, you can easily control and operate the surveillance system from your touch screen interface.
- POS Graphical mode - Provdies ease of use when filtering and reviewing previous POS related transactions. This is a dramatic improvement over the previous version. Also has loss prevention features to assist management.
- E-Mapping feature - This allows the user to create a map, using I/O sensors. When motion is detected in the rooms on the map, the map will show the user exactly where the detection occurs.
- Improved Webcam feature - This improvement will allow the user to access different locations at the same time from one interface.
DVR Cards - Standard Features
The standard features is what keeps the product line in the spotlight. Some of these basic features are Motion Detection alarms and recording & remote webcam viewing and recording. With the Motion Detection, you can set the DVR Cards system to record only when motion is detected in a given area. There is no need to continously record like the old VCR systems
